General Information about social activities

The groups social activities include pub nights, meals, cinema trips, days out, etc.
Some of our social events are specifically organised and promoted as opportunities for prospective members to meet the group. These will be publicised on this message board. In particular we have a regular pub meet on the second Tuesday of each month.
Other opportunities for socialising often arise on a more informal basis. These are usually at short notice allowing greater spontaneity and flexibility but are only publicised within the group.
Often these are not official group activities but a general invitiation from a group member to take part in a private activity they have arranged or are attending.
Listen out for discussion of socials on the walks, and once you've become a member of the group on the forum.
